To Put My Heart On Hold

I have to tell my heart to stop. This is what you told. But how do I put my feelings aside, To put my heart on hold?
You told me that you needed space, You said the time’s not right. You said one day you would be back, That it would be alright.
But what do I do ‘til that day comes? My thoughts are filled with you. You’re in my dreams, you’re in my heart, There’s nothing I can do.
I can’t forget the way I feel The way you’ve easily done. You’re more to me than words could say, You’ve become “The One”.
